Storage Shed Fire

At 5:15 this evening MVFC along with Station 51 (Hartly) and Station 41 ( Camden-Wyoming) was alerted for report of a structure fire. Engine 56-1, Tanker 56, and A-56 made the response. 56-1 arrived to find a 15'x30' storage shed with fire showing. Officer 56-17 established Tower Road Command. Crews found numerous exposures to the fire building including large above ground propane tanks.56-1 pulled an 1"3/4 hand line and began extinguishment. Engine 51-2 , Tanker 51-5, and 41-3 assisted with extinguishment and overhaul. Situation was rapidly placed under control. Command requested DNREC to respond for an unknown leaking materials. Upon assessment by DNREC materials were found to be safe. Command returned all units.
