On Sunday March 20, 2011 The Marydel Volunteer Fire Company had the housing ceramony for our new Pumper Rescue that we will be placing in service very shortly. The unit is a 2010 Ferrara MVP Pumper Rescue on a Ember Chassis. The unit has an 8 man cab with SCBA seating for 5, Unit has a Hale Q-max 2000GPM pump with a Foam-Pro foam system with 30 gallons of foam. Unit carries 1000 gallons of water, has a Harrison Hydraulic generator, a wilbur light tower, various quartz and LED scene lighting. Unit has a Holmatro rescue system with a mounted power unit and hose reel, a portable power unit, a 27" spreader, "O" cutters and (2) rams, "Rescue 42" stabilization system, air bags, 4 bottle 6000psi cascade system, refrigator, standard compliment of small rescue tools, miscellaneous fittings, standard compliment of shovels, rakes, pike poles, unit has a 570 lb hopper of stay dry, various assortment of asorbant material and dyking material, a 24' ladder, a 14' roof ladder, a 10 collapsable attic ladder, a 6' "little giant" ladder. Unit has a smoke ejector, and 2 positive pressure fans, a Stihl K-12 saw, (2) Stihl chain saws, (2) Stihl gas Blowers, 2 portable Honda generators with Quartz lights. The new unit will be designated Pumper Rescue 56-3. Unit was sold and Delivered by Winsteads Fire Equipment in Easton, MD.
