After arriving on location 56-1 crew found that the fuel spill was result of a plow truck running off the shoulder of the road and rolling over in the ditch. 56-1 assumed command and advised dispatch to alert Maryland department of environmental (MDE) for an active for the fuel spill. While waiting for MDE to get on location 56-1s crew put out absorbent socks to control the leaking fuel.
